Donation Services Manager - Full time/Baton Rouge - This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Hospital Services department region assigned to ensure goals/objectives are met. The Manager of Hospital Services is also responsible for managing performance of assigned direct reports and will assist the Director of Hospital Services/support staff with driving departmental initiatives and processes. The Manager of Hospital Services will assist staff with proactive rounding, early identification of donor potential, support family integration, support hospital-based initiatives as well as clinical initiatives to optimize donation potential.
Family Services Manager - Full time/Covington -The Family Services Manager provides hands-on operational leadership and team oversight within the Family Services department. This role ensures efficient, high-quality service delivery while supporting LOPA’s mission and values. As a front-line leader, the Manager fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
Clinical Administrator on Call - Full time/Covington -The Clinical Administrator On Call (AOC) is responsible for the on-going overall coordination of all potential organ donor related matters, including, but not limited to, identification, evaluation, approach, authorization, clinical management, allocation, and recovery. Focuses daily activities on maximizing organ donation with first-hand knowledge of all pending referrals and active cases. Participates in an on-call capacity as well as provides mentorship, training and education. Supports and fosters the mission of the LOPA and its commitment to organ and tissue donation.
Donation Services Coordinator II - Full time/Baton Rouge - The Donation Services Coordinator (DSC) II is responsible for developing and implementing an individualized donation education and quality assurance process improvement program within their assigned hospital(s). The DSC II will collaborate to improve donation outcomes, maintain positive working relationships, and develop a hospital culture supporting and promoting organ, tissue and eye donation. The DSC II is responsible for the performance of their assigned hospital(s) as it relates to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as outlined within LOPA’s strategic plan. The DSC II will be responsible for proactive rounding with early identification of donor referral potential. The DSC II will assist with timely on-site response, assessment, and evaluation of potential organ donors to maintain the opportunity for donation.
Donation Services Coordinator I - Full time/Shreveport - The Donation Services Coordinator (DSC I) & DSC WOW (Work on Weekend) will ensure timely on-site response, assessment, and evaluation of potential organ donors, as well as communicating with hospital staff to maintain opportunity for donation. The DSC I will be responsible for proactive rounding and early identification of donor referral potential.
Donation Services Coordinator I - Work on Weekend - Full time/New Orleans - The Donation Services Coordinator (DSC I) WOW (Work on Weekend) will ensure timely on-site response, assessment, and evaluation of potential organ donors, as well as communicating with hospital staff to maintain opportunity for donation. The DSC I- WOW will be responsible for proactive rounding and early identification of donor referral potential.
Tissue Family Advocate I - Full time (Night Shift)/Covington/Lafayette - Help save and enhance lives by determining suitability of tissue donors, and discussing tissue donation opportunities with families.
Business Intelligence Developer - Full time/Covington - The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer plays a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining BI solutions that support business objectives. This position collaborates with the BI team and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional reports, dashboards, and data solutions. The BI Developer focuses on hands-on development in SQL and Power BI, providing ongoing technical support for BI systems, fulfilling helpdesk requests and ad-hoc data inquiries to ensure the agency has timely and accurate information.
Organ Preservation Coordinator I - Full time/Covington - Responsible for the coordination of the organ donation process during the recovery of organs for transplantation and research.
Assists under the supervision of the Recovery Coordinator, or Advance Practice Coordinator in providing donor management of deceased organ donors with established protocols to maximize organ function.
Participates with hospital development and professional/public education programs using a team approach. Develops and maintains a positive professional liaison between LOPA and the medical/civic community. Utilizes discretion and sensitivity with respect to the circumstances, views and beliefs of others in all interactions, including donor families.
