Cameron Calamari

This is our hero, Cameron “Cam” Calamari. 

He was born on Christmas Day which naturally became his favorite holiday because everyone knows you get 2 presents, right? It seemed like he grew up so fast. He tried a few sports like soccer and baseball, but cheer is where his heart was. Competing and coaching at different gyms and making cheer friends across the US was his passion. 

When he wasn’t at cheer, he was helping friends in need. He was that ear to listen, and shoulder to cry on, and he definitely gave advice. He wanted to save the world. 

He may not have saved the world, but he saved 6 lives through organ donation, 1 eye/corneal transplant, and 64 others through tissue and bone donation. That’s 70 impacted lives from one person. My son has made me so proud with his decision to donate and I’m happy to have met almost all of the organ recipients.
