Maria Markell

My mother, Maria Markell, was filled with a light that lit up her community and everyone around her.

She loved being a mom to my siblings and I, and a friend to everyone she knew. She was a beautiful soul who loved helping others. Her death was sudden, but we knew we needed to fulfill her wishes of being an organ and tissue donor.

Thank you to everyone at LOPA for supporting my family, and for giving my mother an opportunity to help others through these donations.
