Naveed Asayesh

Navid Asayesh died as he was beginning his young manhood at the age of 22. He was both a very intelligent and highly talented individual. His intelligence placed him in honor classes at both Baton Rouge High School and Louisiana State University.

His talent was evident on the soccer field. His gifted athletic ability and his leadership were demonstrated when he was selected captain of the Baton Rouge High School soccer team. Naveed was humble despite his talents, and his love and concern for others was a central aspect of his life. He was a hero both in soccer and in the manner in which he lived his short life.

Even in death, his concern for his fellow man was apparent as his donated organs saved at least three lives. Naveed will be missed by all with whom he had contact.
