Born the last of 6 children, Chad was our golden haired "angel baby". His amazing intelligence became evident early, he was reading children's books by 2 1/2 years and could read and comprehend the stories in the newspaper by 3 years of age! Born into a musical family, Chad was drawn to the guitar and showed a natural ability to play any instrument, but found his passion as a vocalist. Our sweet music man was humble and kind, he never judged others and kept everyone smiling with a goofy joke or a witty comment. Becoming an organ donor was so fitting with his character, as he was generous to others his whole life. His heart failed at the end, but his heartbeat lives on in all who knew Chad Griffin.
