I couldn’t help but think to myself just how sweet a little boy he was and what a good hearted boy he was. I decided to discuss organ donation with my husband.

In death a small hero was born.

Knowing all of this – and missing all of this about him – organ donation was the natural choice. Kelsey would have wanted to help anyone he could, and I want to share him with everyone.

Knowing that a part of him can live through and help others fills us with a humbleness and gratefulness that can not be spoken.

I share my son’s story in a lot of ways. Kye has helped so many people, and saved so many lives already.

It was his ultimate gift which gives us solace as we learn of others who live because of him.

We thank Albert for the gift of life.

Donating his organs was one of the hardest things I have had to do but I know it was what he wanted to do.

He gave me so much love in our 20 years together and in death, he continued to give to others.

Her final act of courage saved the lives of five people, and organ donation is what gets me through every day.

She saw to it that her giving nature would be carried on in her death by being a donor. She never missed an opportunity to to give to others under any circumstances.

He told me when he turned 15 and got his driving permit he wanted to be an organ donor.

We are all very proud of him for being a donor and helping others.

He was able to help 5 people with his donation for life which makes him a HERO in his loving family's eyes forever.

Though we love and miss our son, we are glad that he was able to give many people a better quality of life.

Although, our hearts were broken, she knew long ago that she wanted to be an organ donor and because of that she lives on in others.

Every night we would sit outside and we would talk about our day. It was our favorite time. This was where we discussed the fact that he had stopped by the DMV to become an organ donor.

They now feel like there is a little piece of their mom still here with them.

I am proud to say that my daughter saved lives and improved the quality of life for many others and their families. I believe it is one of the most unselfish gifts anyone can give.

Chloe registered as an organ donor because it simply made sense to her.
